Kings Worthy Early Years is based on the grounds of Kings Worthy Primary School in a building attached to the school. Our homely pre-school room caters for around 30 children per day, this capacity enables our staff team to really get to know each of the children individually and gain a better understanding of their needs. We also pride ourselves on the relationships that we make with our families, they are very important to us as after all take joint responsibility in their early year's education.
Children are encouraged through independence to control their own current interests and our experienced early years practitioners plan learning around the children's individual needs.
School readiness is an integral part of our early years journey and as early years educators we play a vital role in supporting and promoting school readiness and transitions.
At Kings Worthy Early Years Centre children bring a packed lunch for when we sit down together at 12.00pm. The children are also given snacks that are prepared by our staff team who all have training in food hygiene to level 2.
As a setting we are registered with the local council and are proud to say we have a food hygiene rating of 5 starts (the highest rating available).

We understand that one of the biggest challenges for parents when raising children can be the financial adjustment that has to be made due to the cost of childcare. We do not believe in in charging different rates across the various ages therefore all our fees are fixed. All of our invoices are calculated on actual sessions that our children attend and we do not charge for closure days. We also offer a 10% discount to siblings who attend the same setting.
